Many people says keyword need to be optimize with information of website. mean's title or keyword need to be according to webpage content. But i would like to know about very long tail keyword. Plainly use long end keyword then it truly is more useful then short tail search term or not.
It depends on the keyword you are trying to target and your niche. For example if you are in a make money online niche most people will be searching for terms such as "Sitename Payment Proof" , "Sitename Review" etc. In such a case you wont see any good results if you try to target long tail keywords.
On the other hand if you are in some other niche where people are searching for stuff in detail such as "how to lose weight", "how to increase traffic to a new blog". In such a niche people are searching using long tail keywords so you might see some good results.
