So I am going to launch a Kickstarter campaign.
The company focus is reviving the forum as a popular means of online communication.
Any ideas for benefits for people that pledge funding?
Sorry for the lack of information, by the way....It's for my sanity with one unpassed proposal.
Basically, it works through the Ekunia Federative Community (EFC). This is a community (previously described as a "next-generation social network" for a short period) where there are numerous forums and blogs, and they interlink their information, allowing interaction between various communities. This is all customizable to the forum and user. The user uses an alias just like he or she would on any other forum, but one account with Ekunia is valid everywhere in the EFC. This is all funded by advertising. There is also a code development site ("Ekunia FORGE") that is open to anything, but should mostly be used for scripts, plugins, etc. Ekunia will use it for its open source software after it is launched, and before then, code will be hosted on Github. Oh yeah, and by the way, despite being ad-funded, we won't use Google, and we'll respect user privacy.
