Good luck with your new forum, Heather. I think you'll be happy with freeforums. As soon as phpbb3 comes out with their gold release, you'll be able to switch to the new software too.
While i enjoy the template, it starts annoying me after a while, which im assuming why is for "Kidz" the seasonal animation is great, all in all, i like the topics and most of the forum, how long has it been running?
Thanks everybody for your views. Our youngest member at the moment is 9 and eldest is 13, but a couple of years younger or older than any of those ages would also be welcome. This new one was set up yesterday morning, but I'm still tweaking things here and there.
Yeah I will start merging forums together, I'm just trying to sort out all of the topics I want out there and will rearrange when I feel I have everything right. Thanks again all.
Heather, the question that was asked about the age of the children also brought about in my mind the question about underage registration. Is there an adult present that will be monitoring the boards and registrations?
On most broads they use COPPA so if someone admits to be under 13 they will need preventel permission to use the forum but they don't if they do the 13 or older.
We do have 5 adults on the board, who visit it daily. We all have our own children so we will try to make sure that it is as safe as possible for all of our members. Thanks for your concerns Linnysue, I understand where you are coming from 🙂
We have COPPA on our boards, and I get an email when somebody joins up aswell.

Looks like a nifty little site here. I'll be showing my mate for his daughter. Sounds great that you are running this sort of board, although I just feel there is too much in the way of "Viewed" people, if you catch my drift, that will love to join this site to "pose" as a kid. But with the supervision of patroling adults it looks as though you will be able to fight this (its easy to tell the difference between how a 15 yr old and 30 yr old talk 😉)
Also I would recomend maybe a "Parent's Room" where parents can feel they can join and have a special group with all the other parents (hidden of course) about what their kids are talking about. Encourage kids to let their folks know they are viewing the site and would like the parents to join (this could triple your members list , one kid two parents). This gives parents apiece of mind. Who know's you may get more members from Real Life "Word of Mouth" -😉-

Yeah we have 5 adult members, myself, my partner and his bro and sis in law, also a friend. We are on there daily and read all posts carefully, so hopefully we can keep it as safe as we can for our members. Thanks again 😀

I love the arcade, I know kids like miniclip. The skin on the forum I'm not really fond of because it reminds me of school with the notebook paper sorta style. 😀
