Pre-Launch Review
Site Name: Kidsklips.
Site Type: Kids entertainment.
Age: Almost two months old.
Appearance
The theme has a lot of work to be done, lets just start this off with that. You don't have a favicon image for your site, the banner is really small too. The theme itself has a lot of errors and such. There is no background to the content area, it is all just 1 big background. That makes the theme a bit unprofessional and may end up driving people away because people want to see professional themes and unique themes. The navigation bar(s) and header links are really stick out because they don't match the theme and they just sit there without being aligned on something. Overall, I would really really work on the theme to make it professional and really see what you can't do about fixing it up.
Layout
The layout seems to be very unorganized. The content seems to be a bit everywhere. You have what it seems to be 2 navigation bars which is really confusing and it is extremely hard to see the text from the content. Your navigation bar is just sticking out and doesn't seem to really fit the background that you have chosen but you should also look into a theme that will really work better for your site and make it look better. The search bar is also sticking out because its color doesn't match nor blend in with the 2nd navigation bar. Overall, your layout has a lot of work to be done just like the appearance.
First Impressions and Interest
Upon entering your forum for the first time, i was a bit turned away by the theme, the theme is very bland and doesn't really seem to be that unique. There is 1 background and no body background to it to hold the content. The navigation bar is just there and the theme just really moved me away because it didn't seem all that special. It was hard to get interested in your site because nothing really stuck out to me and grabbed my attention and my interest because I was just really turned off with the layout and the theme. Overall, your site has a lot to work on if you wanna get better first impressions.
Content
You have a decent amount of content for your new and young site but a lot of them are videos. Why not make normal blog articles with text and such because videos can tend to cause issues at times which will eventually make your blog lose its reputation and eventually even lose members in the long run when you don't want that. You have a decent amount of content though, that will be good and should help the blog grow in the long run. Just be sure that you keep up on adding content daily or just often to keep the blog running.
