If you had to personally kill the animal to be able to eat it, would you still eat meat?

I’m not sure I’d be able to eat it if I had to kill the actual animal, don’t get me wrong I’m not vegan or vegetarian, I just don’t know if I could kill it and then eat it.

Does fishing count? Once you reel it in and keep it out of the water, it's essentially dead.

Yeah, if you are fishing for food you end up cooking it 🙂 I say I would still eat it, I mean I do not kill dogs for food ;P some countries do thought

Yeah. My wife and I had rabbits and chickens for a while that she would put down and she would cook them.

Well it's the same thing as eating a steak at your favorite restaurant. Only thing is, your the one who salvaged the meat but the answer in my opinion is yes I would eat it granted it's cooked good. I would also make sure the animal went down easily and wasn't in too much pain. It's one thing to be a hunter and another thing to cause animals pain. I hate people who try and torment animals.

Actually, the way animals are killed in factories is way more gruesome and degrading to the animal. Has anyone seen the movie "Fast Food Nation"? These factories are true horror.
