Know of any Plane ticket deals?

Hey folks,

I'm going over to Ecuador this winter season to take care of "business" and currently I'm looking at paying $1400 (which isn't too bad, as it's Xmas) but just wondering if anyone knew of a place I could get a better deal.

If people were wanting details to search etc I'm wanting to go from either Glasgow or Edinburgh (would go to Newcastle if I must) and go to Guayaquil (can't go to Quito as my ride isn't there). Hopefully leaving early December and returning late Jan /early Feb (my dates are flexable).

I don't think there are many plane ticket deals, but if you can purchase plane tickets when the tickets first go on sale the plane is hardly full up. So they'll charge allot less because they need to fill up seats. However once they've filled up over 50% of the plane's seats they gradually raise the price.

Yeah plane tickets are a bitch, think I've got it down to like $1300 so I'm happy.

I'm going back like 2 months after I return so this travelling will be nice on my pocket.... NOT

If you're goin for tickets, don't even think about buying them a few weeks in advance. You're going to need to go further, like months ahead of time in order to get even a decent price.
