knownhost review?

Has anyone got reviews for Knownhost? They seem to have some good deals but how good is their uptime and technical support?

Has anyone got reviews for Knownhost? They seem to have some good deals but how good is their uptime and technical support?

I had them twice.

They are...okay.

The second time, I had them...my server was having random slowness for no apparent reason. It was like this for a month and it got annoying to the point I ahd to complain. The head of the company or one of them anyway, had to personally look into my account. It took them awhile to figure out it was something wrong with their hardware.

I did a conversion to Xenforo(stupid choice on my part, hate the software) and that caused issues. Mail wasn't being delivered so newbies couldn't validate themselves and members couldn't reset passwords.

Various extensions they had told me they supported, they didn't properly install which caused issues.

It was an annoyance.

Based on the earlier experience, I liked them...based on the latter they annoyed me.

Overall, I never would use them again but most people seem to like them so i'd recommend them still.

I do think there are better hosts.

Thanks for your review. Looks like known host is good but there are better options.
