Your Quick Review
Pros:
- Your websites banner is really nice, I like the way the United States flag is to it's side and the webiste name is in the corner. That's nice but I would say that you should get a font that 'represents' your forum and place the text further in the middle rather then just to the side of the banner, but overall the banner is nice.
- I like the ultilities down the side, you've got lots of things that users woud find interesting and there is lots to keep your viewers entertained and you also have lots of content such as news and such which is good, this will show that your site is active and is not left unatended.
- I like your websites overall style and colours, I would suggest making it a bit more 'jazzy'. Get a few more colours on there, get a unique design on there two. I would suggest looking at a few other sites and see how they have theirs and see what you can do to make your look better. I would also suggest getting more picture on the site even the plain sort of style you have now is alright more pictures would look nice on the buttons or something.
Cons:
- Well I don't really like the two advert boxes to the left on your website as it's sort of pointless to have two advert boxes together, I would merge them on move you to the bottom of your site. A lot of people don't like adverts on websites anyway so if you must have adverts then I would suggest putting them on the footer, but if you don't have to have them, I would say remove them.
- Like I said above in the 'Pros' section; I like your websites layout and such but I think you need some more colour and pictures on it, at the moment it is just section with block content, try and split it up more and get more graphics and colours to attract more users to go on the site.
- Well I had a look round and I can't really see anything to get your users involved in the site or anything that they can do. I would suggest getting a forum or setting up events or something to get your users active on the site. Theres not much to do really and a lot of the content and links go to off-site material. So get something going that will make people stay.
Final/General Thoughts:
I like the websites layout/design and colour but it needs a bit more colour and pictures on it - however it is nice and the banner looks good as well.
