Analysis:
Strengths: - Appearance
Let me start off this review by going over your site's strengths. The first strength of your site that I chose was your sites appearance. The design is very colorful and very creative. The banner and design is very clean and well developed and it shows that the forum seems to be a general chat forum. The banner is very clean and suites the site appearance very well. The forum's favicon image is nice but it doesn't match the site all that much. Why not take the banner icon and use that as the favicon. Try to find a way to match the favicon with something on the site to really connect the two. The icons that you have chosen for your boards are really nice. Overall, your websites appearance is very sleek so now lets move onto the 2nd strength of your website!
- Content
Your website, being how young it is, has 5,502 messages and 534 topics. For a site that is so young, that is pretty amazing. This truly shows that you have spent a lot of time keeping your members active for the most part and promoting the site to get that many messages and that many topics in such a small amount of time. You have a great amount of content spread all around your website and you don't let it all just pile up in one specific board the entire time, you keep the content spread around the boards which will really help show that the site is active and will give new members a lot to post around in when they join. So overall, your sites content is really good and that concludes the strengths of your site. Now, lets move onto your sites weaknesses.
Weaknesses:- Activity
Looking at the content of your site and stats, you have a lot of content and over 170 members but yet, it doesn't seem like a lot of them are really active. With so many members, you should make sure that they all stay as active as they can. Don't let them go inactive for long periods of time. As long as you keep them active they will keep bringing in more content for your website. They can also help with promoting your site to get you more members. Your staff seem to be pretty active but it doesn't seem to be that a lot of your members are active. So overall, you need to keep your site active and try getting more of your members to get back online and just keep them active. So lets move onto your sites 2nd weakness.
- Layout
The 2nd weakness that I can see in your site is the layout. You have several private boards that can be seen by guests and possibly by members as well. It's not really a great idea to let members and guests see private boards, even if they can't get into that board, they shouldn't be allowed to see it really. Private boards should be hidden from members & guests until they earn the right to see those boards. You also have a bit of open space that you could use up by adding some more widgets for the community. So overall, your layout is ok but it isn't as good as it could be. So try some new things to take up a bit of that open space and try hiding those private boards so members and guests can't see them. So now, lets wrap up this review!
Final Remarks:
Overall, Kuyro was a nice site to get to review and I hope to see Kuyro go very far in its lifetime. So great work on your website and just take into consideration of your sites weaknesses and try to get them worked on. I hope you enjoyed your review!
