Lack of motivation

Recently I just have no motivation for my forum... has anyone got any good advice on how to motivate yourself with your forum?

I went through the same thing recently too, it was a case of.."do I delete the place, do I hand it over, do I try again?" I gave it one last try to get it going, to see if I could get back into it but it still didn't get me motivated enough so I handed it over.....It's a tough decision to make and one you need to think about carefully first. I feel liberated from it now to be honest 😉

Aye, that's a plan. Especially seeing as I have an IPB license I could sell and get $100+. Doubt the forum is really worth anything at the moment.

Ask yourself why you set up the forum in the first place?

Is there anything you could do, to make the forum more interesting for you personally?

Selling it and starting on a different niche that motivates you more, is not a bad option.

fergal is right if we create a forum where we are not interested then we will soon get bored of it.

I started it because I really liked the idea at the time, now it's just a burden to me in truth.

As for the second question, not really no.

I'll be starting a sale thread on DigitalPoint tonight.

I see you made your topic. I know how you feel and going down your path as well.

I think sometimes a merge is also a good idea. It allows some burden on the other owner so you may have more motivation.

If you have no motivation just go watch TV. It isn't the end of the world.
