I'm pleased to announce that with our release we will be having a contest to shoot off the beginning of this new environment. Since there are no new registrations other than the staff members, we will be automatically entering everybody in the contest.
Since we are a new forum, this is an activity contest. You can win some cool prizes for just being you on the forum and participating in some discussions. You will be awarded points to post, create new threads and refer users to the forum. There are a few catches included, which will be explained below. If you want to earn a lot of points quickly, the best thing you can do is refer your friends to the website. You can also rack up a lot of points by creating threads and even making posts. Below are the point values so you can count.

Point Values:
- Creating a new thread: 10 points
- Creating a reply with a minimum of 25 characters: 5 points
- Refer a new user and have that user make 10 posts: 20 points
- Sign up as a referred user: 10 points
Rules:
- No useless posts. Don't go spamming, try to keep your posts over 25 characters if you would like to actively participate in this contest.
- No "referring yourself". By this I mean, don't create accounts to get yourself referral points. It must not be the same human being posting.
- To make your referral work, the user registering must make 10 posts and when registering put your name in the "referral" field on the registration page.
- Every user is automatically entered in the contest.
- Leaderboard stats will be posted every Monday. These statistics will say how many posts you have total, how many threads, how many you made in a week and your total score.
Prizes:

- 1st prize: Invision Power Board 3.0 license (expires in October, never used). It will include a 25$ renewal fee that is paid so it's just like getting a new license, with a little extra time. This will also include a domain name of your choice.
- 2nd prize: Domain name of your choice.
- 3rd prize: .info domain name of your choice.
