Fluent in English and Spanish. Trying to learn French in school right now.

Mandarin Chinese is easy to learn, it has a lot of words that, with different voice levels mean different things, which is hard to grasp for a lot of people.

I speak fluent English and I'm learning Japanese at school. I also have a high desire to learn Croatian, Swedish and German.

I'm learning Chinese right now. I wish I could learn Japanese though.

Japanese is much easier than Chinese, so I would make an effort to learn some (plus, you live in Japan).

I agree -- Japanese is MUCH easier to learn than Chinese. Japanese has 3 official character sets they use -- 2 are syllabary. But without that third set though (kanji), reading things in just hiragana can be really tough. I have been learning Japanese for about 6 1/2 years, have been to Japan 3 times, and can read quite a bit of kanji.

I speak English, I'm told (my grammar and spelling can be atrocious, but my punctuation is always correct) and i speak a small amount of Spanish. No one believes me but i have my own language, which i use frequently when frustrated. :I

I'd like to learn:
German
Swedish
French
Japanese
Russian become one with mother Russia, да?
Italian
and Czech. (i want to travel.... alot.)

I speak Spanish very well.. I disagree with Chinese being so hard. That's just how it's made out to be. Once you break the barrier with it it's actually very simple. The Modern Mandarin Language was designed around being easy to learn for Western speakers.

Russian looks like a cool language so maybe that. Other than that no real desire to learn a different language. I speak just English btw. (forced to learn Spanish in school.)
