Unique
I don't recall seeing a forum that was based on different languages and traveling like yours. Kudos to having a unique niche. Something you could add to your forum, this is just an idea that popped into my head, is you could maybe having something for the military. I was thinking of having something along the lines of seeing if individuals from the military would be able to comment on some of the places they've been too while they've been overseas. I don't know how often they are given a pass for a couple of days where they can visit some sites while they are stationed in another country. But if they are allowed that, then that might be able to your forum. Seeing if the military individuals can tell you what it was like being stationed in another country.
Site Layout
When I am on a forum, nothing is more annoying to me than to not be able to find my way around a forum. Fortunately, I don't have that problem with your forum. I like how you have all the different languages in one area, the traveling aspect in one area, and any off-topic discussions in the "lounge" area. I would have hated to walk in and just see all that jumbled up in a big mess and I say that because that would be a big turn off to guests viewing your forum. If people can't make sense of where anything is or what type of forum you even have, then it's evident you have a problem.

I know your forum is new and this is one of the hardest things about a forum. You may have to have you, your staff, and any friends that have a little extra time, all come together and post on your forum. They wouldn't have to post thousands of posts (unless they really like your forum and just want to do it) but it is important that you get as many posts/threads as you can in each area of your forum. You seem like you are off to a good start but you will have to keep that going. If you have to, you could do some exchanges with other members here on Forum Promotion. You could do a few posts on their site and they could return the favor. You might even be able to find a couple of people who will do active for active. If you find someone who has a forum that you enjoy, then you can be active on their forum while they are active members on yours. You can also request a package from our package team (and I'm not just telling you this to drum up more business for Forum Promotion). If you are unable to find the time to do any exchanges with others, then you might try ordering a package from them which will get you new member(s) and some more posts/threads.
Content
Again, I understand that you have a forum that isn't that old but are some areas that need more content in them. Some are okay but there are others that have only one or two threads in them. Some of the things that I have mentioned previously may be able to help with this area. Something else that you might be able to try would be having a contest or giveaway, especially something to do with traveling. Or you could give away cash money and/or gift cards that members can use when they are traveling.
Final Remarks:
I believe your forum has a lot of potential. All you have to do is work hard at promoting your forum as much as you can and providing as much quality content as you can on your forum, and I believe you will go far. Just hang in there and don't give up!
