Laptop recommendation

Hello,

I am looking to buy a laptop and I am looking for some recommendations. I need medium specs, a screen of at least 15.6 inch and a light laptop. Can anyone recommend anything good?

What do you need it to handle? Are there any specific features you'd want it to have? What is your budget? Do you prefer windows, mac, or either? Are you planning on using external hardware with it? (If so, what?)

I would recommend you for HP laptops. They serve well and are much reliable compared to other brands. I think a Intel i3 core processor with 4GB RAM will be sufficient to serve your requirements.

I currently use the HP 15, it's a very nice laptop and I recommend you get it. It's around $200, has 4GB RAM, a AMD processor fit for gaming + all around performance, and 750GB for storage.

I've always been a Dell fan myself, unless you want a Mac (which I highly recommend). I'm using a Macbook Pro with Retina Display 13" at the moment.

It will be mostly used for web browsing and doing work. Being able to play games is a plus but it doesn't necessarily have to. I don't have any specific requirements although I am looking for a laptop that has at least 15.6 inch screen and lightweight. My budget is around £500 (around $800). I prefer Windows but I don't mind getting a mac if there is one that meets my requirements and budget. I am not planning on using external hardware with it.
