Laptop/Tablet Hybrid

Have you guys ever owned one of these laptops that also function as a tablet? What do you think of it and would you recommend it?

I have heard of that laptop that doubles as a tablet when I was scouting for a laptop last year. A colleague was offering a suggestion with that laptop that has a removable screen that can function as a tablet. To be honest, I was dumbfounded because I am using a laptop for several years now and I also know how a tablet functions. So how come the two can be together? But eventually, I bought an HP laptop and then I bought a tablet after some months. Don't laugh, that's true.

Tablets are slowly taking over the laptop market. We have stuff like this nowadays.
