Laptop touch pad or mouse, which do you use?

Well, some people prefer using the usb mouse , by connecting it on their laptop. And some prefer using the laptop's touch pad, than a mouse. for me i prefer the touch pad, than the mouse, because it gives me free movement with the cursor when navigating on the screen, the mouse stresses me out , cause my work space is little. and raising up the mouse any time, i reach the extreme is a lot of work for me.
So which one do you use.

To be honest, I have been using my office laptop for 3 years and I am not comfortable with the touch pad until now. There's a corded mouse in the laptop's bag for my convenience. We just bought a new laptop for our home use and the users at home also use the mouse. They complain ot the difficulty with the touch pad.

Only in bed I will use touchpad. Watching movies while resting is very enjoyable. 😀

I use both depends on the situation. Sometimes mouse is the most convenient and sometimes touchpad. For example, a mouse can be more convenient while making a presentation job, while fast typing related job always touchpad help.

I prefer to use the touch pad on my laptop but my husband hates it. I think he would prefer if I had a wireless mouse hooked up to my laptop.

I'm definitely more comfortable using a mouse instead of a touchpad, but only on a desk. 🙂

I prefer a touch pad as I've always worked on laptops and mouses feel restrictive, I always hated using mouses at school and more often than not would just use my own laptop rather than the school computers (they allowed as long as you didn't abuse the privilege - no teacher, I'm totally not writing software in your class 😛 ) and now days I'm always on a laptop.

Mind going into more depth on it? It's felt super convient to me because I can type quickly and use mouse without needing to move hand to use a mouse.

You tend to use your finger allot and can be an paid if you game or photoshop editing.

Ah well I'm mainly either web browsing on my forum or coding so it's mostly typing and the mouse is rarely needed for those things so maybe my opinion of the touchpad is different for those reasons.

If anything I have a touch screen laptop, so I’ll just touch the screen if my mouse isn’t around .
