With the January transfer window coming up, the rumours have already start to fly around.

Post all the latest rumours you have heard.

Here are some interesting but also bizzare ones. ~lol~

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has rejected a move to Manchester City. The Premier League big spenders tabled a world record £129m bid. (Private Spanish radio station Cadena Ser)
Manchester City are determined to spend £70m to sign a "world superstar" in the January transfer window with Kaka, Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres, Carlos Tevez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Samuel Eto'o all in the frame. (Independent)

I wouldn't call Samuel Eto'o a world star bearing in mind he isn't even in Barcelona's first team anymore.

Still he is a good player and would be good in the premiership.

You have to admit, me being a man city fan, its great to see all of that :twistedman:

A well known journalist, who is known for always getting his facts right has said that Milan are interested in selling Kaka due to needing the money because of ronaldinho, or something like that anyway xD

I can see Kaka leaving Milan at some time but I don't know when.

Also, for City fans, you will all wake up soon. -razz- -lol-

Yeah, I agree, but I wouldn't call him a ''world star''

And Mike Kaka would be a brilliant signing. He'd be in most people's world XI.

Well he is known around the world and is very popular. David Beckham isn't the best footballer now but he is still a world star because of his reputation.

Or his wife -lol-

Torres and Ronaldo play on Man U don't they? I highly doubt they'll get either of them.

Also, why are there two teams from Manchester?

Apparently Doncaster want Latics super-striker, Lee Hughes... -🙁-

'PLease Lee - Don't Flee!' -lol-

KtF
Joe 🙂

Yeah I should have known Torres played for Liverpool.

Didn't Donovan go play for some German team?

Yeah he played for Bayer Leverkusen I think.

And each City can have however many teams it likes. You have Everton and Liverpool, they are in the same city. Same with Man Utd and Man City.

Sell dean ashton but keep upson??

I think it is because Upson is a consistent defender and Ashton is a bit injury prone and need the money.

They don't seem to be scoring much. 1 in the last 2 games. But as efc says, Ashton is very injury prone and they need the money.

Valencia striker David Villa's agent has flown to the UK for talks over the Spanish international's £60m move to Manchester City. (The Sun)

Manchester City will definitely land Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra and Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz - and remain hopeful they can capture Barcelona frontman Thierry Henry. (Daily Mail)

Manchester City are set to launch a £15m bid for Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso. (Daily Mail)

Of all the players they are rumoured to be signing, does anyone actually think they will get them?

I think they will sign Villa and Cruz. I don't rate Benjani or Vassell so it would be a good move for them.
