Latest Google Updates

Anyone here has an idea of the latest Google Updates? Is it the Over Optimization will be penalize?

Spam link building etc; is being cracked down on but many people are reporting that spammy sites now dominate lots of keywords while legitimate sites are nowhere to be found.

In short, Google screwed up this update.

No it isn't that simple, Google introduced a whole bunch of changes to their algorithm that are effecting their search results. It has been reported that legitimate websites that were well ranked have dropped off the search results altogether, while in the meantime spam sites, .info domains and parked pages etc; are getting great rankings.

Their goal was to combat keyword stuffing, link spamming and other webspam but they f*cked up and ended up placing dead, spammy and parked websites before legitimate content rich websites.

That's just from what I read. They're obviously trying to the points you mentioned as well as they have in the past but this one I haven't really heard mentioned by them.

Oddly enough all of my websites are all ranking better or the same for my targetted keywords.

It would be mice to see all these spammy results gone, you search for something and the thing you want ends up being on page 2.

Really?? How can you say that? Did you experience that or someone you know have been hit by the new Updates?

Look around the web, there is someone complaining about it almost everywhere you go. We were hit by it and dropped to page 3 for a keyword we previously came second on the first page for.

i don't care about this update
only 5% of my traffic comes from google
that how small nitches work (as posting for a vps is a small nitch with only a few sites left)

I have an very inactive blogspot blog which used to have about 33-36 visit a day, and now only have 4-8 visits a day after the update with Google.

Some of my other website's traffic is also going down after the update. I didn't do keyword stuffing, and much backlink building as well.

I didn't update my blogspot and other blog with new content on a daily basis, so this could be one of the reasons for having less traffic.

Traffic went down from search engines.
