Lava lamp?

Does anyone here own a lava lamp? What's so cool about it? I really want one buuuuut I don't know if I should get it.

I've had 2 or 3. They burn out eventually and aren't as cool looking. They are simply decoration, usually not much lighting comes from them. At least the newer kinds since they are cheaply made. 😛

I have always wanted one, though my parents never let me when I was younger because they thought I would drop it. (They were probably right. )

I always wanted one of those rainbow disco things though. 😱 Lava Lamp would be a best second.

I had two when I was a teen and thought they were pretty cool. I ended up breaking the second one and never bought another one after that. Seeing the wax and fluid that it was made of was pretty cool even though they're toxic.

My little bro had one once. I find them pretty cool, actually. Way better than ordinary boring lamps. I might consider getting one just for the fun of it. :lol:

I use to have one of those when I was your age. They're pretty cool and relaxing really. However, you have to be super careful not to let them get too hot. I saw a house burn to the ground because someone left one turned on and left the home. They can be dangerous.

I never had one, but I always wanted one. I have always had friends who owned atleast one or two of them.

Lava lamps are cool to look at but aren't very bright. I used to have a lamp that rotated bubbles in a wavy like pattern. I miss that thing a lot. I've tried searching for one like it on Amazon and eBay but have yet to find anything like it.

I still have mine, I've had it years, I love it. Even now it's really cool to look at. Thinking about getting another one.
