Any of you did any lawn work recently with the warm weather in the northern hemisphere?
The past two days I have been working on mowing the lawn. In addition to that, we are trying to re-level bricks in the lawn, and adding white marble rocks to the flower beds.
I have been working on cleaning up the landscaping we have. We almost lost a bush to bugs two years ago and it's finally grown back in nice and lush so I'm happy about that. I spent a couple days working in more mulch and everything looks nice and crisp and new again.
When I was younger I use to offer lawn mowing and trimming services to my neighbors for a fee, it was a great way to make a few dollars before the legal working age. Today, I live in an apartment with very little accessible grass, and it's managed by the property owners.
My house is part of an HOA, so a landscaping company takes care of the lawn and garden for us. Also, the garden faces north; that means that it doesn't get much sun. So no flowers will grow, only a couple of tough bushes.
