Are you a lazy admin or met a lazy admin?

If you don't know what's a lazy admin is, it's just an administrator that not active on his forum, doesn't do any update, steal content, basically just doesn't like updating/customizing his/her site.

Yes. In fact, it is a member who I have banned thousands of times at a forum I moderate for many reasons, including

A)Stealing content
B)Flaming
C)Overall being a n00b.

I know of someone who is a lazy administrator, I wont say who but if you went on their forum, you'd know.

I've been on a forum where I asked them to add something and they just locked the topic and said they were busy but they kept posting on other topics and showed the next day.

Yep, seen plenty they start a site up without really knowing the extent of time you need to spend on getting a formu noticed and soon get bored and lose interest.

Well I have met a lot admins like that. I don't know why they create forums. After being successful they close down the forums in few weeks giving some sort of excuses.

I'm the complete opposite really, I'm always adding new stuff or doing something to the site.

I'm seen and met a lot of lazy admin before though, and they usually end up that way because they loose all interest of their forum.

I hate when they do that. Been busy playing video games... 😛

I would, unfortunately, consider myself lazy. Not in the form of adding content or replying to new posts, but as far as updating my site, adding things to it, etc I'm pretty lazy. I really need to buckle down and start getting busy lol.

I can be the same way at times. I'd rather post on my forum than add new things to it. xP

I think any administrator would be that way, Snobo.

Well I've seen many start up forums then just leave it alone and not come back to it.

I've never seen anybody do that personally, but I have heard of it happening. It's sad when they do, because they put all that work into advertising it, and then they sit back and do nothing, while their members do who-knows-what.

I hate lazy admins. They should be put in front of a firing squad.

That is very true. Administrators who are lazy shouldn't even be running forums at all! Although I admit, I'm lazy myself, but at least I take time to add content to my forum, if nothing else.

I think we all seen cases of "lazy admins" before. I think if you are going to go ahead and make a fourm you should put effort into it, just like anything in life you have to work for it.

Thinking you can just make a fourm and slap a admin title on yourself and call it a day is ridiculous.

Well it's obvious they are lazy or if they were too busy they wouldn't keep posting in other topics. 😛
