LearnSEOForum.com

I don't like how you're essentially limited to a "forum" because it contains "forum" in the domain. TBH, I reckon around registration fee, maybe up to $15.

What you are not aware of, is that it is a keyword domain. I was the one that registered it. You can easily rank in the top 10 for "Learn SEO Forum". It is an easy domain to get traffic to. And I am sure we all know that traffic is eventually profit. :great:

I would say around $20 because of the keywords it could hit.

I'm very aware of that (it's in black and white), but the keywords don't make a good key phrase. Who the hell searches for "learn SEO forum"? What you are not aware of is that key phrase only gets 22 global searches monthly. A novice's immediate search would most likely be "SEO" (hence why it has the most global monthly searches) and then maybe "SEO tips". Ranking for "learn SEO forum" isn't a big achievement, if any at all. When there isn't much competition, of course you can easily rank well.

In the domain world, every domain is only worth registration fee. It's how you market that domain, the potentiality to profit from it and the web presence it has which is where most of the worth is from. Sure having keywords is great, but solely relying on it to evaluate a domain isn't a good method.

I am with David on this,it would be worth alot more if it was just learnseo.com . The forum part just ruins it.

@DavidL,

You have a great point. I completely agree with you on the searches. My mistake. I swear it had more when I searched it when I registered it. It must have been wrong information that I was looking at. I just looked and it does not get very many at all. You could try and get in the "Learn SEO" market, but that has about the hardest competition out of any keyphrase.

I could see you getting at least 20$+ if you work to find the right buyer though. I was just too lazy to do that lol. Your best chance at money would be to market it as a forum, and actually build on the domain.
