Surprised nobody here posted about this today. Its only like the most popular topic of the day.

He's back in Cleveland, and its official.

Think of how Miami fans feel now. Pathetic.

If LeBron wins that championship, he stays in Miami. Instead, he loses and just flat out quits on his team and his fanbase in Florida. When the going gets tough... LeBron switches teams. H

He is the definition of a diva.

He already won his championship. He has the right to go back to his original team or anywhere else. Its in his contract to opt out early.

There's a difference between doing what you have a right to do and doing the right thing.

He did the right thing to do. If anything people should be blaming Miami for putting the 'opt out' option in his contract after a few years. Lebron has done nothing wrong in this situation. Miami gave him that option and he took it.

Once again, there's a difference between doing what you have a right to do and doing the right thing lol.

I went to school with the boy, not really a fan. His attitude sucks, but he is a good player. If the Cavs want to take him back good for them. He'll leave them again. He's a traitor.

You seem to think that a professional athlete taking advantage of free agency is wrong. That is interesting logic. 😛

If LeBron James wants to opt out of his contract because he wants to head off elsewhere, he is welcome to do so. If Steve Nash wants to opt into the last year of his contract with the Lakers because he wants the money even though he isn't contributing at all, that is his right as a player.

Let's not play this loyalty nonsense. History shows that franchises aren't loyal to players, so there's really no point in arguing that players are supposed to be loyal to franchises, or the fans of those franchises, for that matter.

Lebron leaving Miami gave the East some kind of Parity. Kyrie/Love/Lebron isn't as intimidating as Wade/Bosh/Lebron was since those 2 of those guys are legit defensive players, while Bosh is one of the best Pick n Roll defender (though his post D is a little bit lacking). Kyrie/Love doesn't have that intimidating 'D' that the Heat Trio gave.

Heat with Bosh/Wade are still a play-off team. Bulls with Rose coming back and getting Gasol makes them a nice contender. Cavs is probably the team to beat in the East now.

Like I said, I never said he did not have the right to do it, but I think he should have at least finished out his contract. It's not like Miami wronged him or anything. They would have still been contenders. I don't know about you, but LeBron does not have a track record of being a very humble, good guy. He's always been pretty cocky and arrogant, and he doesn't exactly carry his team like somebody like Kevin Durant does.

They have the younger legs though. Plus, I actually think this new big 3 is better offensively than the latter.

Finished out his contract? Apparently you are missing the whole purpose of a player option. Player options exist for a reason. Also, Kevin Durant has Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka. Westbrook has been hurt some, but he's a beast. Ibaka isn't an offensive player, but he is one of the best shot blockers in the NBA. Kevin Durant is in the running for the MVP award every year for a reason, but he doesn't carry his team either.

Kevin Durant carries his team lol, I dunno what the heck you're talking about. I guarantee you the Heat minus LeBron are a significantly better team than the Thunder without Durant.

Please read my posts before replying. I never said LeBron did not have the right to leave. Of course he did, but people have the right to do a lot of things, and he also had the right (and a whole lot of reasons) to stay in Miami for at least another season.
