Left 4 Dead Forums are a vB-based message board dedicated to Valve Software's upcoming survival horror title; Left 4 Dead.

Left 4 Dead is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which a virulent strain of the rabies virus has turned most of the population into crazed infected, otherwise known as zombies (think 28 Days Later). The game focuses on co-operative team-play, pitting you and three other survivors against hordes of infected who are just itching to get a piece of you.

Left 4 Dead Forums offer a great forum community for anyone interested in Left 4 Dead along with friendly general chat areas for when you don't feel like discussing the game.

With the public demo release for Left 4 Dead yesterday (and the early demo for pre-order on the 6th) we're experiencing rapid growth and it's awesome! 😀

If you get time it would be nice to hear how you got all those members? Like what promotion etc.. you did.
So if you can go into the 'promotion tips' forum and let everyone know -happy-

I'm a HUHGE survival horror fan, played and beat them all. i'm just sketchy on how this works with co-op. both me an dmy girlfriend played through all the RE's SH's, fata frames, etc ... looking for a good co-op survival horror.

Awesome, I'm a big fan of the genre too, but I find books are my favourite medium for it 🙂

As for whether it's worth the buy? I can't say personally (stopped myself from getting it until I've finished exams so that I wouldn't be stuck on the PC 😛 and now that exams are gone I have no $ LOL) but I'm yet to hear a bad word about it aside from "boring weapons" and "it doesn't look like Crysis"... So I'd have to say yes 😀
