Do you do a Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and stuff like that? Does it benefit you?

I've just spent most of the morning writing up Competitions Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy & Membership Terms of Use pages for my site. 😉

That's not always relevant to owning a forum.

Honestly all you need to add to your forum is that you're not responsible for anything shared or posted by it's users. I had this problem a while back with one of my forums where stolen images were being sold and they wanted me to take them down, but I didn't because in my ToS I put we aren't responsible for anything shared or posted by our users. They would have to contact the user on the forum to take it down.

All sites should have at least a privacy policy, especially if you allow minors on your site.
