Some examples of sites that might have thin content are:
Automatically generated content
Affiliate programs
Scraped content
Doorway pages
Duplicate content sites
For one, doorway pages are a classic example of thin content.
Most times, these door way pages are optimized for an individual keyword. An example of a thin content doorway page is one where a dealer will target individual cities within their state.
Other examples of thin content are affiliate sites that offer no added value beyond what is offered on the site being linked to. Usually, this will involve grabbing an affiliate feed from the product retailer without any other additional content being added, such as reviews, personalized descriptions, etc.
