letters to famous people?

Have you ever sent a letter to someone famous? Did you ever get a reply back?

Earlier this year we had to write 3-5 letters to someone, and most people (including me) chose famous people. It has been at least 4 months and I still haven't gotten a reply back. A lot of people did get replies and they also got autographs from the writers.

I am planning on sending a letter(s) to some book authors to see if they will reply back, and maybe send an autograph back with them for me to use as a prize for a contest 🙂

I have never done this but my mum when she was young told me a story about how she wrote a letter to John Bovi of Bon Jovi I think that was his name, but never recieved a reply for atleast 6 years and only to see he wrote one word ''thanks''.

Also got some signed stuff from the actor from Where The Wild Things Are which was cool.

Just finished writing the letter to one of the people Tom Becker (the author of Darkside) Just need to find his address which is super hard. I'm wondering if I should just send it to the publishing company addressed to him...
