I love hearing your comments, feel free to share them on the blog by commenting on the articles so more people can see your thoughts! 🙂
Toxic friendships: I also like the term Emotional Manipulators per an article I read awhile back. Too many people stay in a relationship, friendship 'cos they don't feel they deserve any better. But they have to remember, they are worth something too!

Re: Fitness- there's always ways to modify a workout. Key is to not compare ourselves with others & to go at our own pace.

Good blog post! There is a difference. One can be lonely in a group of people. I love my quiet time in nature. It helps keep me healthy- mentally, physically, & emotionally. The not being isolated is key. When it’s a choice to spend time by yourself, that is when it’s healthy.

I am really encouraging everyone's comments on this one since it is such an open topic. 🙂

I totally agree with everything you have said. I am guilty myself of isolating too much, which I am working on. I love being out in nature though as it also gives me a healthy feeling.

Your posts resonate with me. I like that you put the words Self-Care in there. I use that myself. People think it’s selfish but it’s not.
What I would tell my younger self- To not take life so seriously. To just breathe.
I try to look to the present & not the past. Tho I have to say, as much as I had a hard past, I wouldn’t change it. What we go thru shapes us into who we are.

I definitely agree. Our past can shape who we are today.

I’m an introvert & do better with deeper discussions myself. But what I’ve learned is that sometimes we NEED that small talk to get to know others better, even other introverts, so we CAN talk about those deeper things. Those little questions I view as ice-breakers. Maybe the other person needs a bit of extra help or needs that small talk to feel comfortable. At the start. But that’s also why I (as well as many introverts) prefer writing. Then we can engage in that proverbial small talk, get to know each other better, but we can take our time in answering. How can we trust people & in turn THEY trust us if we don’t open up slowly, aka that small talk?
Extroverts tend to be on the go & thrive for that small talk whereas us introverts don’t. Neither are right, neither are wrong. We just have to do what’s best for us.
