Someone got into my bank I don't know how but now I owe the bank over $100+ someone got into my banking account and spent alot of my money.. Now I got to get a new banking number and everything..

Contact your bank ASAP, As they'll help make sure that the rest of your account is secured (I hope anyway).

Ah, i feel so bad for you.

Hope you sort everything out.

Best of luck. 🙂

Sorry to hear that, identity theft possibly or simply someone watching over your shoulder at an ATM? I hope you get it sorted out quickly and effectively soon, maybe if you go to see your bank they could possibly waver the fraud on your account, be sure to report it to the police and take a crime detail reference or something with you to the bank, you never know, stranger things have happened. 😉

Banks DO have insurance to cover this sort of thing.

Get a crime reference number from the Police regarding this (please, please call the non-emergency phone number, not 999) because not only will it cover you if the bank asks for it, but it will also let them know it's going on in your area. They may already know who's doing it, as it may have happened to others. Or they may be able to trace where the money was removed and check the banks CCTV.

When it comes down to it, despite being electronic and someone drawing (or spending) money from your account, it's still theft, and you're actually more covered than if someone walked up to you and stole your wallet.

Ouch dude. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know (Like I can do much, anyway *rolls eyes* I hope things get sorted out as soon as possible.

Your life now sucks because of $100? lol..

Anyways, tell your bank you didnt spend that money and tell them to investigate it. My bank is really good about investigating things. I remember I reported that $60 was missing.. They ended up asking me to come into my local branch, then they showed me a video of me pulling out the money (All ATM's have cameras, usually behind a mirror).. Guess I forgot. 😛

Besides the good advice there I have to say. Yeah $100 can mean a lot to some people. It's not something to lol about. If I got hit by a $100 fraud about the time my power bill was due I would be hurting as well 🙁

In this day and age £50 is a lot of money, that is my monthly cost of lunch Mon - Fri.

Sorry to hear that, hope you and your bank sort it out. I remember when someone spent £200 on an Oyster Card and HSBC were brilliant in sorting it out even though it was TFL's problem (they wouldn't do anything about it).

$100+ is an awful lot of money and I would be equally as devastated if it was me, having said that it isn't the end of the world, there are far worse things that can happen so remember to keep smiling even if you do feel a bit down in the dumps right now. 🙂

 Just told my bank what happen they won't do crap about it because they say the same old excuse other banks do, "We can't do anything about it sorry." Now I still have to pay back the $130.. Also I closed my bank. I am moving to another bank soon..

You think the banks care...?? They don't care about us.

Depends what country if you put it that way. If you're in Australia, they have a legal obligation. So yes, they do care.

That does suck. That's why you cover your PIN everywhere you go!
