Life​

Life is crude, unpredictable, grim and scary,
And each of us has a trouble that we carry.
Sometimes problems are simple, easy to solve,
But hard ones are the one that makes us evolve.

We are not the one who choose to be born,
But while we are here, let’s smile, do not mourn.
Every moment is precious, it’s a life within a life,
And none of us can even guess is there afterlife.

So be present in this very moment, be fully alive,
Forget all silly desires, forget anything for you strive.
Drop your ego, for he is the reason behind all that pain,
If you continue to cherish him, you will surely go insane.

Mind will recall memories, evoke feelings that were bad,
Mind will rip you apart, and your whole life will be sad.
All those life scars will last, none of them will ever heal,
Believe that ego is you, and, life is something you won’t feel.​

I read this a few times and each time I gain new insight to where you're going with it. Yes, we're our own problems in our life at times, I agree. Well done.

Army Wife and I are both Christians, so we do believe there is an afterlife with our Lord. Just had to throw that in there 🙂
