Light or Dark style?

As a forum goer, what kind of styles do you typically like to see? Dark ones, or light ones?

Dark skins are my favorite. It's hard to come across a good one but when you do they are absolutely beautiful. So sleek and sexy... ~cheesey_grin~

I agree. I also think dark styles are easier on peoples eyes, which is why I tend to go with dark themes.

It all depends with me really.

If it is a gaming forum I think it is better to have darker colours and if it is with a football forum then I like to see a lighter theme. Although bobly th types of them forums can have either, as long as it looks good I don't mind.

I used to prefer light but now I prefer dark.

By the way guys, this poll was made as a survey. I'm currently looking for another theme for my forum, and I am using this poll as a survey of peoples likes and dislikes in which I will put into consideration for another style. 🙂

I like more light skins than dark ones. If its gonna be dark, its gotta be perfect. If its not perfect dont bother with it. Of course the best thing to do is offer one of each and allow members to chose from their control pannel.

My UEF is an international community, and my Fantasy one is an advertising forum.

For the advertising board I think if you go for a light one then listen to the advice given here like make sure it is not to hard on the eyes etc.

For me with advertising boards I am not really bothered if the template is dark or light just as long as it looks good.

I prefer lighter more basic skins. I use 'Forum Promotion' skin on here most of the time as opposed to the 'FP1' default dark style.

Dark. Currently the light in this room is broken and it's making it so light skins are basically stabbing at my eyes with rusty, sharpened spoons.

It hurts. So I'm only perusing dark forums 😀

I prefer light over dark. Really because forums with dark skins/themes aren't good for my laptop's screen 😛
