On this forum, there is a like thing, and I might click it - but not really agree with what's said. I mean, there is a "agree" thing for that. O.K. do you all see that in the same way? Do you all like something said as interesting, but don't agree with it?

I'm not used to have an "Agree" button so I almost always just use the Like button.

I use Agree if I agree, and Like if I like the content.
If you say something that I can see myself saying, I'll press Agree... Like for me is more for "I may not fully agree, but I like your contribution".
On Facebook for example, if I'm in a mini debate with someone, they may say something I completely disagree with but because they provided good reasoning & backed up their argument with facts, I might like it... It just depends on the topic though. I don't get into many Facebook debates, but for me the Like button has never meant "I agree". It just means I like their contribution / efforts. I think the 'laugh' response has become 'disagree' or 'dislike' on Facebook, even if not intended. In fact I would say that I see the 'laugh' response being used more than the 'angry' response by people when they disagree. It's almost like "I am dying of laughter at how wrong you are" instead of "I am angry at how wrong you are."

It all depends on the person.
For FP, I definitely use the Like reaction even if I don't agree.

Yeah. I pretty much agree and approach the icons in a similar manner. For community matters, I tend to use the "Agree" button a lot. I pretty much tend to see it similar to what has been said here.

- I also use "love" when I want to do more than just say I "like" it; for example, people being really friendly or saying something i really appreciate and I want to communicate that.
- I use "winner" when I want to do more than a simple "agree" when someone really hits the nail in the head.
So what I am saying is that in a way love and winner are my hardcore version of liking and agreeing.

The rest I guess it depends on if it works better than the usual thumb-up.

People thinking like = agree can give people "the wrong idea".
