I like it - but I think the people should be a little darker, to fit in with the theme.

How can you say their forum has no future? Yes removal of the copyrights is stupid and wont help activity and reputation, but still...The Elite said:

How so? MyBB is released under the LGPL v2. Which means he can remove the MyBB copyright. He will not get Official support on the MyBB forum though.The Elite said:

I was about to say what Twitch said. The MyBB Link is allowed to be removed. However, if it is removed, you aren't allowed support on the MyBB support forum.

I am a law student, I am well aware of that, they will face legal action from the designer if the designer wishes, however, you cannot automatically assume that the site has no future, how do you know they didnt pay for copyright removal (the theme that is)? Also, I very much doubt the designer could have the site taken down, only the theme- which again makes me wonder why you thinl the site has no future. It is the ultimate slap in the face for any forum software developer or designer to have their much earned copyright or " Powered By " removed and replaced with somebody else's.
And I am pretty sure it is illegal to claim the source code as your own, which is essentially what the OP is doing by having that in the footer. I could be wrong though, im no law student.

I know, but it might not be, like I said, he might have bought copyright removal from the owner, I doubt it, but you never know.

Thing is, webhosts every day are suspending peoples services since if someone rips a theme, they might as well post fraudulent things (in their mind). This site has no future since the admin removes the copyright of the forum software and instead gives credit to himself, if he removed it, fine, but he did the latter.

Yeah I've already reported him to myBB before I read this thread and they're not going to offer support for him and also the theme owner has been contacted and is going to send a DMCA(I think that's what you call it) notice and then if you fail to add the theme copyrights, you will be reported to your host and then BAM, bye bye to your site.
MyBB is a great software, the creator of that theme is a great designer.
