LinkBB: New Forum Software in Development

Well I am still learning PHP.
Studying other softwares as well.
This may take a while but I plan on at least giving it a try.
 
I have a simple forum completed.

Its very plain but easy to use.

Hopefully I will have a demo/support forum up tomorrow.

Also I changed the name to SoftBB.
 
No it isnt that domain is for sale.

Its a search thing.
I am working on installing the support forum atm.
 
Hard to get.
Also we won't have a TLD for a while.
I don't have a credit card or banking account.

phpBB has been around for a LONG time now.
I was part of their QA team where we had to test the whole software out before it gets released.

phpBB, for example, their team is very professional and know the programming language before they planned on doing the project. You need lots of coding experienced for a project of that size.

The smallest mistake could lead to a huge bug/hack "ownage" and to a bad reputation.

Unless your willing to make a deal with a good designer and coder for the templates I don't see this going far, the template needs to be designed with customization in mind.
