Linking to another page - Wordpress

How do you make it so people can add a link in their comment and it goes to another page/site? I tried [url= but that did nothing.

if you post the url it should do it automatically, or just use the <a> take. WordPress comments use HTML so won't work

Why would you take Joomla over Wordpress? Just enable it so users can post simple HTML in their comments (Its in the reading section I think under settings)

Joomla has a better user system and is easier to use.

checking it out now, never really used the latest version of Joomla so as long as it has improvements over their old version it should be good!
