Windows for compatability, Linux for freedom, hard decision.
Just for the record, there are threats to a Linux machine, the onlky reason that you don't get any coming onto your machine is bcause say you are using Ubuntu: You have a user account seperate from root, so nothing can alter system files etc. whereas in Windows, the main user is root.
