I will occasionally use Linux. I use Linux Mint when I do use Linux. I considered putting it on my primary desktop instead of Windows, but the driver support for some of the wireless devices I use (keyboard, wifi dongle, etc) is lacking.
Ironically the least tech-savvy people in my family, like my grandma, use Linux the most. I'm the designated PC repair-person for a family full of luddites, so when someone with no computer skills needs a PC they can check their email on, I put Linux Mint on there and it's bulletproof. No more calls about viruses from the elderly relatives.
Yes, in addition to Windows, I use Ubuntu 20.04. One of my old Toshiba sat was gone: an internal suite Toshiba error deleted all HD O.S.😱.My husband installed the Ubuntu release I previously chose to not get rid of my notebook, as the HD still was in good conditions and the rest of the components, in spite of a weak processors, still work. I must say the hardware is going very much better with Ubuntu 20.04 than Windows 10 (I don't know why the machine wasn't able to work properly with Windows, as it often went freezing. jeopardizing my studies and job). Focal Fossa is not the first Linux I use: in the past I had Mandriva, Ubuntu Precise Pangolin and Ubuntu Bionic Beaver.
I love using Linux, there are so many fantastic distros. My main machine is still using Win10, but I'm hoping to upgrade to a new PC one of these days, and that will be running either Fedora Cinnamon or PoP_OS. My laptop I use for distro-hopping to try out as many different distros as possible, it's a lot of fun 🙂
