The worst part about littering is that there are bins everywhere, around every corner, around every turn, would it cost people to just walk over to a bin and throw the things in? Are their poor knees going to collapse, if they have to walk over a few metres?
In many cases they make criminals (drunk driving, minor crimes) clean it up. So who has been on cleaning routes?
They probably do make them do it as part of a community service thing, but more often than not, it's probably really poorly paid staff.
There has been a toilet, a whole toilet, on the side of the road that I live on for over a month now...
I don’t know how people can throw stuff out like that but it is really annoying and nasty to see every day. 🙁
I've seen sofas and chairs, but never a toilet. People these days...
When I first read that, I imagined one of those portable toilets, but then, it kinda clicked.
