There was a huge flood rolling into town, and the SES were getting as many out as they could. They came to a guy in his house they said to him come on mate get in the row boat here before the water gets to high. No no he said God will save me I am fine, about 2 hours later he was on the roof of his house, as the water had been rising pretty fast. More SES in a tinny come along, come on mate get in before you get swept away. But still he refused saying that I will be fine God will save me, the man stood there on his roof as the water continued to rise and rise. When the water was about neck height on this bloke a helicopter came along, with a winch ready to save the bloke, but again he refused any help, God will come and save me don’t worry mates. It didn’t take much longer before that guy drowned in the rising flood waters.
After the guy died he appeared in front of God in heaven, he asked God listen mate why didn’t you save me back there. God said look mate I sent SES in a row boat, more help in a tinny, and when you about to die a helicopter just to save you, but it seems you didn’t want my help after all.
