Liverpool scored what must be one of the weirdest goals ever last Saturday.

Yes it should. If you were a Manchester utd fan and that happened to you, you'd accept it.
 
It wasn't a goal because the defendor hadn't kicked the ball back to the goalkeeper. He merely kicked it back a few yards to where the ref wanted it originally so that the goalkeeper could smash it up field. Why the hell would he kick the ball 5 yards for any other reason.
 
I agree Cloverfield. The ball was never going to reach the keeper - you couldn't mistake that for a free kick. Also, the keeper acted as if Torres was going to give it to him, right up until he shot.

Bob, the FA tend to remove football videos so it won't last. 🙁

No as it was passed back by a Sunderland player and when Torres passed it, Kuyt was behind the ball.
