Un-Collaborative Bickering @ Its Highest

What is this world coming to, or more bluntly, what has this world already, come to?

Something to think about...

Its rediculous how some individuals believe everything they hear from the msm and never care to bother conducting their own research and checking the facts and/or backing up various sources on their own, and instead, debate with others on the very topic that they could have possibly of solved on their own.

I care less about movies stars, sports stars, pop idol figures, etc... they do nothing for the world except provide a means of "entertainment" which takes the focus off the issues that matter in life, and in turn ends up "brain washing" the future generation of teachers, educators, and scholars.

Golf solves nothing
Singing solves nothing
Bickering solves nothing

Why do sports figures and other various idols recieve a higher paycheck, than the typical employee working at a walgreens helping a mom pick out the correct formula for her baby?

Goes the same for politicians and their puppets and puppetiers, thats all I'll say about that currently.

Also, I'd like to point out to individuals who enjoy staying on the sidelines during debates and intellectual discussions, both online and offline...don't be afraid to speak your mind on issues that seem important to you, even though the person on the recieving end has some "fancy" lettering before/after their name. When you die, your degree stays on earth, so if you witness a debate taking place, and feel the need to jump in, by all means do so, however know where the debate is at already before jumping in and bringing up an already solved issue.

Our world is a twisted reck of un-collaborative bickering, name calling, and finger pointing amongst very intelligent individuals who seek to make it a daily ritual to boost their own ego.

Why do you think our world is corrupt or not corrupt, or is it as corrupt as one makes it if you belive that aswell...

As should be in all cases, discuss the post and not the poster please...

Interesting points.

As to the football player being paid more than the McDonalds employee, well people get paid their share of the money which is made by the buisness. If millions of people buy tickets to the football player's game then he will get a pretty nice pay check. If no one cares then he won't. A fast food employee or store cashier won't get paid too much either as he is just one of tens of thousands of employees in a large chain.

I agree that stars are being turned into gods, though. Every time I hear the news talk non-stop for hours about a movie star dying, I wonder why none of the many people that get murdered every day don't get this sort of coverage. On a grand scale, it really doesn't matter so much, especially if this celebrity no longer practices their career, except it's a name you may find familiar. Further more, when a celebrity's young child dies it is a huge tragedy. I am sure hundred or even thousand of people experience this every day.

Of course our current world system is corrupt. How could you possibly disagree with that statement?
