I happen to live in a place right near the sea. It's maybe one KM from the sea so the boats look cool.🙁
I live 70 miles east of the ocean. Its a quick drive..

Here on the Cape you'd be hard pressed to find an oceanfront property for less than a million. It's really not worth it to me, considering how fast many of the beaches around here are eroding.
I would rather live on land, where I can't drown, or be attacked by kraken.
I don't live near the sea. 🙁 Takes a good day or so drive if no stops for sleep are done.

I can walk to the sea in around 15 minutes. It's much easier to drive there in 5, though.
I live about 20 minutes for a bus journey and that includes ten minutes walking, if car then 10, but I have walked and it has took up to 20 minutes via going through live killing things.
I think it would be amazing to live by the sea. Just to go out every morning and to hear the sound of the ocean/sea.
Sounds really awesome, always love the serene, quiet, peaceful side of the sea but I hate beaches x_X
