Hey guys,

For those who read my thread the other day, majority of traffic is from Google and Bing ( 😀 ), some from Twitter and Facebook.
If you want i can write a guide for you 🙂

Back on topic:

I seem to be getting atleast 5 Reg's a day, but nobody seems to post?
Like, at all.

Any ideas why guys?

Is there any content that may be bringing people to your site that they have to register to see? Perhaps you should also add a post count requirement to it if that is the case

Hmm, i find that not letting guests see content loses me traffic, although all my articles are good.

Any way of giving samples to guests (vB) and then having to logged in to see the rest?

Are your 5 registrations a day legitimate and not bots? To be honest if they are legitimate there isn't much you can do to make them post... do you have any form of activation on?

These usernames just seem not right: AlexiaAsuris, Baxreeririb, chpzuoqxno, Daloxyroill, DonTreattevitype22, Elizavettayap, faxalkamfog, Guidesnt, HoreDedaHearA, loopygeokyMow, MaryJennison, NatalieMausski, Offendygedy, Plumbingvx, ssjwlzowwn, WebHostingPiAr

(just going by the front page; haven't even looked at the whole memberlist)

They seem too automated and spam like, especially the ones that aren't even pronounceable eg. chpzuoqxno ???

David's right. You should add some spam protection to registration

I changed Captcha for like 1 day and I got many porn spammers on my forums, lol... Use reCaptcha 😉

Sometimes you get spam bots that register and will stay dormant for a while. Then one day they begin their mission of spam. Sometimes a few of them will strike all at once. 😱
