Locked Out of vBulletin​

I accidentally deleted my admin account for my vBulletin forum when editing some things. I need to find away to create a new one or change the privileges of another one using the database files rather than the admin cp that I dont have access too. Thanks 🙂

That's why you should always make a back up of your database every once in a while.

Edit your config.php file and set the new user account to have admin permissions.

PS. Why don't you ask for support at the vBulletin Community forum? ( you do have a license, do you? )

Perhaps he didn't know about the support forum? 🙂

I'm always on support forums for services so I would always try to find it 😛 I can't go to a service without a good support forum.

@Rick how don't you know about the support forum? if he legally purchased the license they give a link in the welcome e-mail.
