Logo for CODForums?

Is this the proper logo size ? It is 623 x 128 px. The same as your current logo.

Users complained its too big, soooo.... tone it down to 500px, ratio i don't know because 500x128 may look squished.

My only complaint is the white outline. I think the best way to utilize the logo is for it to have an outline that isn't too bright. Which is why I brought up cinderblock as outline. Because I wanted this feeling of 3D. Notice how the first CODForums logo looks like it was designed by a 3D designer? Nope. It was a guy who put together a photoshop logo. I was surprised at first.

I don't want my logo to be too bright, or kiddy, but also not too dark I can't see it. That was the criticism I got about the current logo, but I didn't want to insult the designer. 🙁

Sure. I get you. If you are happy with everything else, I can try to fill the white with whatever you want. Do you prefer rusted metal or damaged concrete ?
 
Concrete as the outline. Let me know if you want to change the brightness at any area. I think that can be done
