Vacation is over. Time has come to get back home. It's a long journey, around 36 hours to be precise. 😊

Travelling on train really gives me pleasure and satisfaction. How many of you also like travelling on train? 😉

Yup. Compact seat sizes in long flights are lamentable. Atleast I can roam around here. 😆

My vacation was awesome. Enjoyed a lot with friends. 😊

I used to commute to Chicago by train so it's not something I consider for traveling on vacation. I'm glad you had a nice time and have a safe ride home!

Traveling on a commuter train vs one set up for long trips is a bit different. I traveled from Chicago to southern Illinois (and back) a few times when I was younger on a train, and it was much more comfortable and inviting vs a commuter train.

@Ozzy47 Exactly. It's already 8 hours into my journey, and it is fairly comfortable till now.

It has been so long since I have taken a vacation anywhere or really traveled anywhere that wasn't for work. Traveling by train is always fun and I haven't done that for at least 20 years. I hope to do it again someday.
