I currently have a Nokia Lumia 530. I'm looking around for a android phone! Why android? Because its just better and way more apps supported then windows phone.

My budget is around under $300AUD. And it has to be a prepaid or unlocked mobile phone.

Basically I be using it to browse the web, gaming, chatting and hopefully it has good long battery life. I have been looking at BLu models, they have great reviews.

Probably from herehttp://www.newegg.com/global/au/Pro ... ageSize=30

Please no nitty-gritty people posting here lol

I would say grab the S6 but those aren't prepaid. 😛

If you can grab a LG G2 or G3, that would be your best bet. They are pretty awesome phones.

So you own one of the three then?

I own the S5, however I have played with the S6, the the G2 and G3 and my friends have had the G2 before. Of course any older version of the phone might be slower than the new and android can get quite slow depending upon what you do with them, I would head to a carriers store and play with the phones before buying them. ^.^

I would highly recommend the Galaxy S6 Edge (or non edge the price is the same). 1440p screen and can take 4k pictures / videos. When it comes to hardware the Galaxy S6 is the most powerfulest phone at the moment.

It's way over my budget. I said under $300 or save up for another 1 years and get the S6 for $800 or more

Uhmm I didn't know if you had a plan or not I have not got the Galaxy S6 myself yet, but when I do I will be paying $200 for mine so, eh. Sorry.

You could possibly get a Galaxy S3 or S4 for maybe under $100 but they aren't very new phones though.

Being on a plain you get phones at a good price and for not being on a plain, like prepaid and unlocked phones are at there full retail price. I better off to keep my 530 till I decided to go with a plain. Probably early next year.

I'd say the LG G3. I own that myself and it is a great phone, if you can afford it go with the G4 which is a upgraded model.

Thanks, sounds like that the LG and Galaxys are the best. And yes they are even that I never played around with them lol

It's difficult for me to advise because you are in Australia and I have no idea what type of networks your area supports but if you are able to use it I've heard good things about the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime.

That does not matter anymore since I'm staying with my 530 till I move away.
