Looking for Critique

You have really grown as a designer. There are things that could be improved here, mainly the header and the h2 text.

The h2 text looks a bit choppy (may be my computer).

Definitely need a new logo, nothing is proprietary at all when I view the site, nothing is unique or differentiates between any other blogs.

I don't get a feeling of any sort of border or frame on the right side. You may want to look into getting all the text to end at the same time on each row so it looks neater and aligns better with the image.
 
Hi Jake, good to see you having a go.

One thing I would change is the text on the website. It looks pixelated and broken and isn't too easy on the eyes.

Other than that, keep up the good work!
