Hello, im currently looking for a free cpanel hosting that offers at least 1000MB of disk space and 10,000MB of bandwith. Its gotta also have at least 10 of all the features.

I will use that server to move in Promote My Web.

I tried sitefrost and server was a little slow, but still nice service there.

http://edgedhost.com/

The free package offers 512 MB diskspace and 5,120 MB bandwidth. It only has 5 of each cpanel features. However, if you are hosted by us for more than a month, we allow you to request addons to your package.

The Post2Host, technically free, offers 800 Space and 8,192 MB bandwidth. it has 8 of each cPanel features. However, same as above, we allow you to request addons after hosting with us for x months. This package requires you to maintain 20 posts a month.

Just as a side note, I always hated the concept of favoritism.

I'd be willing to take you on to me with that stats, if you are interested send me a PM 😉

Most of the guys who come here who have their own hosts are pretty reliable. If not, most people would -1 rep them.

Im right now trying out edged host. Any more hosts?

You shouldn't go for anyone who try to advertise there own hosting IMO.

Well another one you might want to try is http://www.x10hosting.com/ 😉
I agree about the advertising. Advertising your own host is a bit iffy, IMO, especially if you don't recommend another as well. And I wouldn't advise x10, I have bad experiences with them (bad uptime).

I have never used x10hosting apart from as a user on sites hosted on them and my experience on using sites hosted on them is a very slow and unreliable experience.

Also advertising your own host wouldn't appeal to me. If a user not connected to a host recommends them, that is 100 times better then the owner recommending them as the owner is always going to make them sound good.

Yet two posts up...

Yeah, this is a prime example of the reasons why I won't use your hosting services.

SiteFrost is great, gets my vote. Don't go for any "new" hosts, as I keep saying, they lack security experience and at any time they can rip your database and bootleg it on other sites for cash. Not worth losing it all, even if it means you have to take lower stats.

Seconded. But the older hosts can be pretty crappy too (this is referring to free hosts, as the OP was asking about them).

Advertising/suggesting my own web host doesn't make it any more or less reliable/good. It shows that it is still new but the service itself doesn't change. It's a free service, wouldn't hurt to give it a test-run before actually running your website on it.

I've personally used SiteFrost, as suggested by Leo Ghost, and I don't think I have anything bad to say about them. Probably one of the most reliable free web host today. However, in my opinion, new varieties isn't necessarily an awful thing. If people didn't join new web hosts, then those web hosts wouldn't probably be what they are today; so when Leo Ghost suggested not to go for new web hosts, I found that statement to be a bit false.

Honestly spoken I don't have an issue with your service, it's been up for awhile and has been holding. It's managed by someone who has never shown any reason to not be trusted, unlike other services which are ran by people who have past histories which cannot be erased by time. I haven't had time to test your service, so forgive me for not feeling safe recommending it on my name to others quite yet. Since I know SiteFrost to be fine, it's usually the one I give out.

I'm not saying you shouldn't try new hosts, my comment was more that you shouldn't place all your eggs into the basket of a new host. It's perfectly fine to host a few sites with them, but don't jump on board and place all your sites and the ability to lose it all at once if the host decides to close or run off. Sorry I wasn't more clear in my post, I had just woken up not too long before :great:

Well, im currently using Ryans host, and works great. But it will be for only 6 months or so when im able to afford a VPS.

You know whats so annoying about edged host? The server is always down at night...
