Looking for Gaming Contest Prize Ideas

I'm going to be holding a big referral contest on my board soon, and I need some top prize ideas.

Some ideas I have so far:

Win a free video game (skyrim, SW ToR, MW3)
Win a one year domain from name cheap
small cash prize


I'm looking for a few more ideas, stuff that would pull in people to participate in the contest.

With gaming forums, a free video game is the way to go. Domain is just not relevant and cash... although it's ok I think a game would suit the forum more.

I would say a free video game. For one of my forums I was thinking of doing a game. Skyrim...for my Skyrim Forums..

As for my other forum, I was thinking of doing a free domain name . Forum Penthouse

They fit the niche of each one.

Yes, You can buy a WoW(or what ever game it is) time card. Give them the codes to enter in and let them claim the time themselves.

I would definitely recommend going with the video game as it directly relates to your forum niche. I run a wrestling forum and when I run a contest I give away something wrestling related so either a wrestling DVD/Bluray or a wrestling book.

If you have a VIP usergroup on your forum then maybe you could offer free VIP membership as a prize.
